Nobody was prompted towards Adem Yze, injuries, the kids, leadership, recruiting, effort or 2027. Those subjects appeared because Richmond supporters decided they mattered.
The comments did not produce one clean verdict. They produced contradictions. Some supporters still saw progress while others could not. Some accepted the injury damage while no longer accepting injuries as a sufficient explanation. Some remained patient with the rebuild while quietly putting conditions on that patience.
So what was the useful information — the loudest opinion, or the fact that intelligent Richmond supporters could watch the same season and still be arguing about what improvement, effort and development actually looked like?
What does it mean when “thank God it’s over” appears beside genuine loyalty? When “no excuses in 2027” comes from people who have not abandoned the rebuild? When belief in the kids survives, but starts arriving with conditions?
Those reactions opened twelve separate Richmond investigations. The subjects range from supporter fatigue and repeated explanations to leadership, experience, recruitment, injuries, the kids and the point at which patience has to become evidence.
The important part is not whether the comment section was right. It is what the comments revealed Richmond supporters still do not have clear answers to.
