RTSSG’s full member feature Same Words. Same Result. So What Are Richmond Supporters Actually Tired Of? begins with a supporter reaction that is easy to dismiss as frustration — until the same reaction keeps returning.

The words Richmond used through 2026 may still have contained legitimate explanations. Youth was real. Injuries were real. Development was real. But supporter trust is not measured only by whether an explanation is technically true.

What happens when a true explanation stops carrying the same weight with the people hearing it?

When does repetition become a trust problem rather than merely a communication problem? What evidence restores credibility once patience is no longer renewed by the language itself? And can supporters lose confidence in an explanation without necessarily rejecting the people giving it?

That is a different question from what Richmond should say next. It is about what repeated explanations do to the relationship between a rebuilding club and the people being asked to keep believing in the rebuild.
