Richmond Supporters Are Filling Out the AFL Fan Survey. But Where Do the Answers Actually Go?
Richmond supporters have been invited to complete the AFL Fans Association’s 2026 National Fan Survey. There are club-specific questions. There are questions about fixtures, umpiring, broadcasting, affordability and the match-day experience. But the real supporter question begins after the form is submitted.
Who turns thousands of individual answers into something the AFL has to confront? What happens when the fan position collides with broadcasters, commercial contracts or league priorities? And how would we know a year from now whether the exercise changed anything at all?
The question Tiger supporters should be asking is simple: does filling in the survey create influence — or merely another pile of feedback?
