Two seasons later, is 2027 the year that investment finally has to start paying Richmond back?
Potential has been enough until now. Injury has mattered. Interrupted development has mattered. Youth has mattered.
But Year Three changes the conversation.
At some point, possibility has to start becoming evidence.
At some point, Richmond has to begin seeing which parts of that extraordinary draft night are actually becoming the next Richmond side.
And that leaves one increasingly uncomfortable question hanging over Season 27:
