Liam Fawcett entered 2025 competing with newly drafted tall forwards while Tom Lynch remained the senior focal point. What role was actually available to him?
Fawcett had lost much of 2024 to a back stress fracture but returned with a more mature body than some of Richmond’s new draftees. Did that put him closer to senior opportunity? Was he competing with the kids, complementing Lynch, or simply trying to stay in the long-term conversation?
