The source asked for competitiveness, green shoots, a clearer Yze imprint and fringe players forcing their way forward. Those are easy ideas to agree with in December. But what would each one look like once games began? How much evidence would be enough? Which signs could be faked by a good afternoon, and which would survive a difficult season?
