Is Richmond Building a Game Plan for a Team It Does Not Have Yet?

Richmond’s 44% problem began as an availability statistic. Too many highly drafted youngsters had played too little football together for the club’s preferred game model to become stable.
The living version of the problem is now more interesting. Richmond has had another season to learn which young players can actually provide the speed, contest power, forward threat and decision-making the system demands.
That shifts the pressure from abstract philosophy to visible choices. A rebuild can ask young players to stretch, but eventually the roles, rotations and field positions should start matching the attributes the club says it is developing.
In Season 27, will Richmond shape the game plan around the team it actually has — or keep asking the list to impersonate the finished side it hopes to build?
