Richmond has spent much of the rebuild trying to discover what it already owns: who can defend, create, pressure, run, kick, mark, lead and win important contests. Some answers are beginning to appear.
But is having one answer the same as having a functioning list? What happens if the only player who supplies a particular football function is unavailable? Does the role survive through another player, or does Richmond have to change the way the whole side plays?
